Grinch Fruit Kabobs
Grinch Kabobs
What You’ll Need:
-
1 mini marshmallow per kabob (for the pom-pom on his hat)
-
1 strawberry per kabob (top trimmed, then sliced in half longways – one half for the hat, the other for the jacket/shoulders)
-
1 large marshmallow per kabob (slice into thirds to make the hat rim and collar)
-
1 green grape per kabob (cut a small section off the top so the marshmallow sits flush under the hat)
-
Knotted cocktail toothpicks (for that extra Grinchy flair)

Let's put it together
Grinchy Assembly:
-
Start with the Jacket:
-
Slide one half of the strawberry (flat side down) onto the toothpick as the Grinch’s jacket or shoulders.
-
-
Add the Grinch’s Collar:
-
Next, add a large marshmallow slice to create the collar of his “jacket.”
-
-
Pop on the Grinch’s Head:
-
Slide on a green grape, flat side up, so it fits snugly against the marshmallow collar.
-
-
Give Him a Hat Rim:
-
Add another slice of the large marshmallow for the hat’s rim.
-
-
Top with the Hat and Pom-Pom:
-
Place the other half of the strawberry, pointy side up, as his Santa hat.
-
Finish with a mini marshmallow on top for the hat’s pom-pom.
-
-
Arrange and Enjoy!

Grinchy Face – Jeff’s Creative Touch
If you want to go full Grinch mode with detailed eyes and a mischievous grin, here’s Jeff’s technique!
Extra Ingredients:
-
Banana (for the “pupil” seeds)
-
Yellow frosting (for the big yellow eyes) we dyed white frosting with yellow food dye.
-
Melting chocolate (for the Grinch’s grin)
Steps for the Grinch Face:
-
Making the Eyes:
-
Slice a banana sideways down the middle and, using the pointed tip of a paring knife, carefully remove a small seed from inside. This can be a little sticky, so slide the seed across the cutting board to remove any gooey bits.
-
To make the eye sockets, pinch a straw to create an oval shape and press it gently into the grape where you want each eye.
-
Use the paring knife to pop out the “eye” section and fill it with yellow frosting, wiping away any excess.
-
Place the banana seed onto the frosting as a pupil, using the tip of the knife for precision.
-
-
Creating the Grinchy Grin:
-
Press a metal measuring spoon into a piece of melting chocolate to form a crescent shape that looks like the Grinch’s sly smile.
-
Carefully cut a small grin shape into the grape with a paring knife and press the chocolate “smile” into the cut for a perfect Grinch expression.
